Truth is, a family where 80-90% of the children are boys, or even all boys, MAY not be the same with the one where the reverse is the case in term of child upbringing and growth in respect to chores... 

In between, a youngman who lived alone for more than five years doing virtually everything by himself before getting married MAY not be the same with the one who moved from his parents' house in less than three months to his wedding having females either as siblings or workers around him...

Morever, how do we compare a man who goes to work 5am only to return home 8-9pm daily or may even travel for business or work trip for days with wife owing a grocery stores business or one who is a full house wife? THE MAN SHOULD COME BACK AND START COOKING OR WASHING DISHES? 

WE NEED TO CONSIDER ALL THESE WHEN DEALING WITH PEOPLE RESPECTIVELY (males and females).

In all of these, for those in the first category of gender upbringing and growth, we can always learn_ it's called personal development.

Personally, l knew it took me a lot of pains in learning many things because I grew up in a home where l had virtually 80-90% of things being done for me, but I just felt within myself while growing up to stop certain things and get things done myself... It wasn't easy but I thank God.

GET HIM TO ASSIST YOU (SINGLES AND MARRIED)

 TO SINGLES AND MARRIED  I can't blame a man whose wife is home all through the day while he leaves home 5/6am only to come back 6/7pm. But if both are working, no excuse. Another thing is, after wedding, if the woman is also working as the man, yiu don't go about doing all the chores while he sits or sleeps. By the time you take in or start having children, you will understand better but it may just be too late to bring him back to be assisting you. Politely request for his assistance as you work. While you cook, let him help in mopping, cleaning the electronics, tables, etcetera Washing dishes doesn't take away his manhood. Pounding or turning fufu or eba or Amala or semo doesn't reduce his anointing. I still turned fufu yesterday and my wife was so glad seeing the smoothness. Obviously, some ladies are the architect of their own problem in that they excuse their husbands in helping out and with time, the man becomes relax... By the way, his wife is alway capable... S...

BEWARE OF RED FLAGS DURING COURTSHIP  I learnt (read) of one lady whose husband refused anyone visiting her while she was pregnant.  It was strictly her alone at home from morning till evening when her husband would come back, before she would see another person one on one. The man also refused her registering for antenatal.  According to the issue, his denomination doesn't believe in hospital or medications or medical doctors and anything related to that.  It's strictly like the Hebrew women by the mothers in the church to come during child labour.
