            BIBLE_CHALLENGE (Day Six)

           IN CHRIST IS ENOUGH FOR ALL.
                        (Matthew 9:29)

A pair of blind men have recognized that Jesus is the Messiah, referring to Him by the name Son of David.

 They have asked Him to have mercy on them, meaning that they want to receive their sight (Matthew 9:27).

 Jesus, waiting until He is inside with them, asked if they truly believed in His power to heal—and they responded with an enthusiastic "yes" (Matthew 9:28).

 Jesus cares deeply that those He heals believe He can heal them.

Now Jesus touches their blind eyes and tells them that their faith is the trigger for their miraculous restoration.

 It's important to understand that these men are not healing themselves, nor is the healing power coming from their faith, itself.

 The men are healed "according to" their faith, not "by the power of" their belief.

It is Christ's power—the power of God—that restores their sight. 

Their faith contributes to their healing to the extent that their faith is in Jesus and nothing else. 

Because He is the object of their faith, they will be healed by Him.

Those who, by the providence of God, have lost their bodily sight, may, by the grace of God, have the eyes of their understanding fully enlightened. 

And whatever our wants and burdens are, we need no more for supply and support, than to share in the mercy of our Lord Jesus. IN CHRIST IS ENOUGH FOR ALL.

He would try their faith, and would teach us always to pray, and not to faint, though the answer does not come at once.

The great question is, Do ye believe? Nature may make us earnest, but it is only grace that can work faith.

He gives sight to blind souls by the power of his grace going with his word, and he puts the cure upon their faith.

 Those who apply to Jesus Christ, shall be dealt with, not according to their fancies, nor according to their profession, but according to their faith.

 Christ sometimes concealed his miracles, because he would not indulge the conceit which prevailed among the Jews, that their Messiah should be a temporal prince, and so give occasion to the people to attempt tumults and seditions.

The question is, DO WE REALLY HAVE FAITH IN GOD?

GET HIM TO ASSIST YOU (SINGLES AND MARRIED)

 TO SINGLES AND MARRIED  I can't blame a man whose wife is home all through the day while he leaves home 5/6am only to come back 6/7pm. But if both are working, no excuse. Another thing is, after wedding, if the woman is also working as the man, yiu don't go about doing all the chores while he sits or sleeps. By the time you take in or start having children, you will understand better but it may just be too late to bring him back to be assisting you. Politely request for his assistance as you work. While you cook, let him help in mopping, cleaning the electronics, tables, etcetera Washing dishes doesn't take away his manhood. Pounding or turning fufu or eba or Amala or semo doesn't reduce his anointing. I still turned fufu yesterday and my wife was so glad seeing the smoothness. Obviously, some ladies are the architect of their own problem in that they excuse their husbands in helping out and with time, the man becomes relax... By the way, his wife is alway capable... S...

BEWARE OF RED FLAGS DURING COURTSHIP  I learnt (read) of one lady whose husband refused anyone visiting her while she was pregnant.  It was strictly her alone at home from morning till evening when her husband would come back, before she would see another person one on one. The man also refused her registering for antenatal.  According to the issue, his denomination doesn't believe in hospital or medications or medical doctors and anything related to that.  It's strictly like the Hebrew women by the mothers in the church to come during child labour. SADLY, ACCORDING TO THE WHOLE STORY, SHE EVENTUALLY DIED DURING CHILD LABOUR.           A TRUE LIFE STORY IT WAS Please, dear single brothers and sisters, WATCH and PRAY as you are preparing to get married.  Courtship time is not romantic time.
